Request for Deadline extension (May be 2 days)

Some of us got the key delayed, please extend it to finalize out submission, our team is working hard

    I ask that we keep the current deadline. This hackathon has been going on for the entire month. Teams have planned and made decisions to finish by the announced deadline. Some teams may have cut features that made their submission less competitive so that they submit on-time. These teams should not be disadvantaged compared to teams that did not plan their time accordingly.

    We didn't propose only for ourselves but for all to refine their work too, It clears out I wish I have more time issue

    if someone worked as hard as for month like they say, there is nothing to be afraid of. since Qloo is private API and we won't get chance to further use API maybe for a long while, it makes sense to give procrastinators fair chance. why?
    a. it doesn't interfere judging. sat-sun is just off in most part of the professional world.
    b. hackathons are known for weekend hustle. this is just testament to that.
    c. in past, managed by devpost events themselves are extended by week or even two weeks in some case. one of my friend participated and won one of the non-random ones. (checkout zerobounce email validation hackathon)
    d. qloo gets more polished submission and might help during those tie decision.

    " Some teams may have cut features that made their submission less competitive so that they submit on-time." --by your words itself, this two days give them opportunity to do their level best. i am not even sure if i will participate, but if they extend, who knows i might give a fairfight by getting army of cursor claude code and few MCP servers.

    btw i registered just a week ago, and even discord's invite wasn't working and then saw additional comments. (it's still not fixed after weeks so those who may have registered earlier and getting help on discord are actually at unfair advantage.)

    they might not be even monitoring discussion. given that discord and hackathon support never worked during hackathon, even 7 days extension wouldn't have surprised me.

    btw this hackathon isn't "managed by devpost". so it's even easier for them to extend if they wish.
    others could've mailed hackathon manager coby@qloo.com and cc'ed support@qloo.com info@qloo.com

    so if they don't extend, there is no point in putting effort in your demo/code as this project/demo won't work once they disable hackathon api key. one would either be participating for prize or demo for portfolio only so i wouldn't sugarcoat it other way. :)

    Thank you all for your comments -- there will not be any extensions of the deadline. The process and timelines have been posted. The next step is judging those submissions that were made on time.
