How to become a team member?

Hey i want to be added as an teammate to my friends team or how do i do it.

    Hi! On your friend’s (the team leader’s) project page, they click + Add team members. They can either send you an invitation link or add you directly by entering your email or Devpost username.

    When i click the plus button , it just follows them could you give me a step by step process?

    The team lead needs to invite you to the team – you won’t be able to do it from your own account. Ask them to go to the project page and click + Add team members. They can either send you an invitation link or add you directly by entering your email or Devpost username.
